A Polish man has been jailed for ordering hundreds of pizzas from wrong addresses.

It is reported that Poland’s Central Agency for Combating Cybercrime recently announced that a young man has been detained, accused of harassing people, identity fraud and causing massive financial losses to several companies.

The man ordered hundreds of pizzas to various random addresses across the country. In all these orders, the people who were shown as recipients were completely unaware of the orders as they had not placed the orders.

According to police investigation, the pizza orders placed by the young suspect in this bizarre case not only contained detailed information about the victims that could only be known to the victims themselves or their close friends and relatives, but also contained serious threats.

Most of the fake pizza delivery orders were addressed in the city of Szczecin, but at least several dozen orders were also sent to addresses in major Polish cities. Although many restaurants fulfilled the orders they received, causing them to incur significant financial losses, some delivery orders were also rejected due to technical reasons.

One of the orders was for 300 pizzas, with a total value of more than $10,000. On several other occasions, restaurants canceled orders because it was not possible to prepare such a large number of pizzas in the allotted time.

The cybercrime and investigation department of the municipal police headquarters recently raided the man’s house and seized devices and data storage devices suspected to have been used for expensive pizza delivery orders.

If this person is found guilty of the crime, he can be sentenced to eight years in prison. As for his motive, the investigation team is still trying to find out why he did it.
