Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has revealed the difficulties faced while shooting action scenes in his upcoming film ‘Haiwan’.

In a conversation with Indian media, Saif Ali Khan has said that shooting an action scene in the film was physically exhausting, involving broken glasses, hand-to-hand fights and hours of shooting.

The actor has said that I did the scene myself without a body double and also used very little visual effects.

He has said that the fight action was very skillfully staged by director Silva, the whole scene was filmed in a very realistic and violent manner, while there were broken glasses everywhere in the room.

Saif Ali Khan said that this scene was so tiring that I had to rest for two days after the shooting was over.

The actor has also said that I didn’t get a chance to train much before the action scenes, I had requested for training but the training could not go as planned, however, I did rehearse a few action moves with Silva before the shoot.

Saif Ali Khan said that during the shooting of the scene, I got some minor cuts and bruises, but luckily there was no major injury.

‘Haiwan’ is Saif Ali Khan’s directorial debut with Priya Darshan, while the film will see Saif and Akshay Kumar reunite after almost 18 years. The film is set to release in theaters across India on September 11.
