Spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Baqaei, says that peace and stability in the region is related to the respect of Yemen’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He says that the solution to Yemen’s problems is not possible by continuing the siege and military tension.

In his statement, Ismail Baqaei said that the people of Yemen have the right to live a dignified life free from pressure, threats and inhumane siege.

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the need to immediately resume and implement the negotiations under the agreed road map on the Yemen issue, saying that Iran is ready to cooperate in every positive effort to resume the negotiations.
