Yemen’s Houthi-dominated organization Ansar Allah has claimed control of the strategic island of Mayon in the Red Sea.

According to Arab media, Houthis have gained complete control over Bab al-Mandab after occupying Mayon Island. Yesterday, Ansar Allah claimed to have strengthened their grip on Bab al-Mandab strait.

Ansarullah has also claimed possession of an American-made armored tank used by Saudi-backed forces.

Arab media say that Ansar Allah has claimed to have pushed back the Saudi-backed forces from an area of ​​5400 square kilometers.

Ansarullah seized military equipment worth millions of dollars from the captured area.
