Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is going to become a mother for the second time at the age of 41. Speaking openly about this experience, she has said that this time the experience is completely different for me physically and emotionally.
In an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival, the actress opened up about her experiences with hope.
Mahira Khan has said that I did not expect to become a mother again at the age of 41, at that time my life was already moving in a certain direction, my son is grown up, while I live with my work, routine and independence.
The actress said that at this stage I had envisioned a certain style of my life, however starting this journey again after many years brought about a real emotional change for me.
Mahira Khan has said that man thinks and plans a lot for his life, but then Allah has His own plan and surely His plan is the best.
He has said that this situation has helped me learn that there is no need to control everything or know the answer to every question in advance, sometimes life needs to be surprised and surrender to the will of Allah.
Referring to her first-time motherhood, Mahira Khan has said that when I became a mother for the first time, I was 24 years old, but now I am 41 years old and a different woman emotionally and physically.
The actress has said that I did this experience at the age of 24 with a certain innocence, health was good and I did not think much about all these possible difficulties.
According to Mahira, this time the situation has proved more difficult physically, some days the body does not allow me to do what my mind wants to do, whereas I have always been used to being busy, working, traveling and multi-tasking.
He has said that emotionally this experience is also different because at this age a person has more consciousness, he knows more, is more concerned and understands the fragility and importance of life more.
Mahira Khan has said that while going through this process for the second time, I am also experiencing emotions like fear, exhaustion and feeling weak.
It should be noted that Mahira Khan married Ali Askari in 2007, with whom her son Azlan was born on September 15, 2009. Both divorced in 2016.
Later, Mahira Khan started a new chapter of her life with Saleem Karim and married him in October 2023 in Bhurban.
