Legendary Malaysian footballer Datuk Abd Alf married a 20-year-old woman at the age of 72, with a 52-year age difference.

After Datuk Abdul Alf’s wedding photos went viral on social media, various speculations regarding his marital status also started.

Later, his younger brother and former footballer Datuk Yunus Alf confirmed the marriage and said that the wedding ceremony took place on 27 August 2026.

He said that both the families were willing for this relationship and there were no obstacles in it.

Datuk Yunus Alf said that my brother is probably on honeymoon with his wife and that is why he is not answering phone calls.

A friend of Datuk Abdul Alf has also confirmed the viral wedding photos as authentic but refrained from revealing the venue and other details of the wedding ceremony.

It should be noted that Datuk Abdul Alf was one of the key players of the national team during the golden era of the Malaysian football team, especially in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

He played an important role in qualifying his team for the 1980 Moscow Olympics, but later Malaysia did not participate in the Moscow Olympics.
