US Vice President JD Vance has said that the US is concerned about the Houthis’ occupation of Mayon Island in the Bab Al Mandab Strait.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an election rally in Kansas City, JD Vance said that the United States is in contact with other affected countries in the region besides Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The US President and Vice President said that the US government is in direct contact with the Houthis at this time.
