He opposed the slow pace of AI development, warning that excessive restrictions could leave the US behind China in the global race for the technology.

The US president said that opposition to the rapid development of AI is actually working in the interests of those who do not want the technology to advance.

He also said that there could be political elements opposing the rapid development of AI, including China.

On the other hand, Jensen Huang has also called some predictions about the very dangerous consequences of the development of AI technology as unscientific, saying that safety concerns should be taken seriously, but they should not justify stopping the development of the technology.
