Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar was met by US Comptroller of Affairs in Pakistan Natalie Baker today in Islamabad.

According to the Foreign Office from Islamabad, Pakistan-US bilateral cooperation and the current situation in the region were discussed on this occasion.

According to the Foreign Office, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy for lasting peace.

During the meeting, Ishaq Dar said that the positive progress in Pakistan-US relations is commendable. Constant communication between Pakistan and the US on matters of mutual interest is essential.

Ishaq Dar further said that the Prime Minister will lead the Pakistani delegation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
