Qatar warned of serious consequences of closing the Bab al-Mandab strait.

The official of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ibrahim Al Hashemi, has said that the world is already facing problems due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

He said that Qatar does not want to increase the problems of the world by closing Bab al-Mandab.

Ibrahim al-Hashemi said that Qatar is emphasizing diplomacy and dialogue to avoid further problems.

On the other hand, the prices of oil in the world market went up.

Murban rose to one hundred and eighteen dollars per barrel, Brent reached one hundred and eight dollars and WTI reached one hundred and four dollars.
