Containers are being delivered to D Chowk and all the surrounding main roads of capital Islamabad, the delivery of containers which started on Monday afternoon is still going on.

In view of the calls of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Jamaat-e-Islami for long marches and sit-ins this month, steps are being taken by the government and the administration to close the city almost prematurely.

About 400 containers have been delivered to Islamabad’s Embassy Road, Serena Chowk, Nadra Chowk, Express Chowk, Ayub Chowk and all suburban squares and intersections, while more containers are being brought.

Double layer containers are being kept around D Chowk in D Chowk, containers are also being kept on the sides of the roads coming from KP, Punjab and Azad Kashmir in the city, which will be used for all kinds of traffic stop when necessary.
