Indian Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh says that I am not such a great singer that I cannot sing like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, it is not just me, my range is very limited but I like Nusrat Sahib very much.

Recently, the Indian singer and actor performed on legendary singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s popular qawwali ‘Sansoon Ki Mala’ during a concert.

In this regard, the singer spoke during Instagram Live and described his experience on a user’s comment.

During Instagram Live, Diljit Dosanjh talked about the experience of performing Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s popular Qawwali and said that I don’t consider myself a great singer to do real justice to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s music.

Diljit said that this performance was just an expression of my love and devotion for the great Qawwal.

Apologizing for any possible mistakes in his performance, he admitted that Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s lyrics are extremely difficult to sing.

It should be noted that Diljit Dosanjh is the first Punjabi artist to perform at London’s Wembley Stadium.

He performed in front of a packed crowd at the 90,000 capacity Wembley Stadium as part of the ‘Aura World Tour’.

He also became the talk of the internet during Diljit’s performance at Wembley, where he performed on stage Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s famous Qawwali Sanson Si Mala.

During this concert at Wembley, Diljit also made a big announcement for his Indian fans.

Referring to Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, he referred to Coldplay’s recent concert there and said that Narendra Modi Stadium is the biggest stadium in India, Coldplay, a white group, sold it out there, it cannot happen if there is a stadium in India and Punjabi is not there.

Diljit announced that he will perform on 21 November 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
