An incident related to the generosity of famous Bollywood actor Nana Patekar has come to light which touched the hearts of fans.

Indian writer Ranbir Pushp recently spoke about his experience of working with Nana Patekar during an interview.

He said that Nana Patekar was listening to the news one day when he came across the families who were in dire straits after the suicides of farmers and the very next day he was going to buy a car worth around one and a half crore Indian rupees.

Ranbir Pushp further said that after seeing the condition of the affected families, the actor decided to distribute the money to the affected families instead of buying a car and then called one of his fellow artists and directed him to prepare a check of Rs 15, 15 thousand and distribute it to the affected families.

He said that Nana Patekar did not only do this but later set up a ‘Nam’ foundation through which funds were collected to help farmers and needy families.
