Federal Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb termed Panda Bond as an important development towards diversified and sustainable sources of finance.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad, the Federal Finance Minister said that Pakistan’s historic Panda Bond has received global recognition. Pakistan’s Sustainable Panda Bond has received international recognition, its global recognition is the honor of the country.

Mohammad Aurangzeb further said that the Panda Bond is an important milestone in Pakistan’s access to new global capital, thereby strengthening Pakistan’s international financial ties.

He said that the Panda Bond is an important step towards a diversified and sustainable source of finance, increasing Pakistan’s access to new global financial markets.

The Finance Minister added that as Pakistan moves towards market-based financing for sustainable development, the Panda Bond is important in further strengthening Pakistan’s financial reputation.

He said that Pakistan is creating new financial opportunities for sustainable economic development.
