Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari confirmed action against 791 officers and personnel in 13 days.

In a statement, Uzma Bukhari said that action against corrupt officials in the government institutions of Punjab is ongoing. Action has been taken against 791 police officers and personnel in 13 days.

The provincial information minister further said that 78 Punjab police officials were dismissed and 60 officials were suspended for corruption.

He said that 230 officials have been brought to line, 79 Punjab police officials have been demoted and arrested while inquiry is going on against 274 officials.
