While details of the film’s plot are still under wraps, the novel’s official introduction gives us our best hint yet at what Cliff has been up to since the events of 1969: “The swinging sixties are long gone – but Clifford Booth keeps on going… war hero, stuntman, bartender, and movie projectionist… with the occasional ‘secret service’ for his friends…”.
This marks Tarantino’s second foray into prose with this universe, following his 2021 breakthrough novel. Once upon a time in Hollywoodwhich was known for delving into Cliff’s incredibly dark past.
