In the Indian state of Gujarat, a man killed his 5-year-old daughter, put her body in a refrigerator and committed suicide.

According to the police, a man named Kishore Dhunk allegedly strangled his daughter Himanshi to death in his house, kept her body in a refrigerator and then hanged himself.

The police came to know about the deaths when Dhank’s wife Manju Ben could not be reached on the phone. She had gone to her father’s house since September 14.

Manju Ben sent his brother home to see. When there was no response from the house, after breaking the door and entering, Dhunk’s body was found hanging from the ceiling fan.

According to the FIR, Dhunk had left three suicide notes on the bed.

In the FIR, his wife said that in a note he had written that he had taken a loan and invested the money in construction work. 7.25 lakh was to be received from his business friends but the money was not received.

Now they have run out of money and there is no solution in sight, so they commit suicide with their daughter.

In another note, Dhunk wrote that he killed his daughter so that she would not have to suffer after her death. In the third note, he apologized and told that he had kept the girl’s body inside the fridge.

According to the police, looking at the room, it seems that Dhunk had apparently planned to celebrate his daughter’s birthday one last time. The room was decorated with balloons and candles. Dhunk had dressed Himanshi in white clothes, a dupatta on her head and kept pillows inside the fridge.
