A power bank exploded while charging a lithium battery in the business class cabin of KLM Amsterdam-Couras flight KL735, igniting a fire and causing a fire.

At the time of the incident, the plane was flying over the Atlantic Ocean, the fire caused smoke in the cabin.

According to officials, the power bank belonged to former KLM CEO Dutch minister Camille Urlings, who was traveling in business class.
