Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi says that the federal government’s priority is political revenge, not the end of terrorism.

Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has met the families of the martyrs of the Kohat Police Lines blast.

Speaking on this occasion, Sohail Afridi has said that I pay tribute to the police personnel who bravely fought the terrorists, the martyrs sacrificed their lives for the protection of the nation.

He has said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been fighting against terrorism for 22 years, the federal government’s policy on terrorism has completely failed.

Sohail Afridi says that they are giving policy to end terrorism but no one is willing to pay attention.

The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has said that he gave an additional 35 billion rupees to equip the police with modern weapons, increasing the budget of the police to 190 billion rupees in the fiscal year 2026-27.

He says that without strengthening the police, there cannot be lasting peace in the province, DHQ Hospital Kohat will be provided with all necessary medical equipment.

He said that blast affected mosque and Special Branch Police Station building will be reconstructed, 1000 bed hospital in Kohat will be completed in minimum period.
