80% of suicide bombers are Afghans, every formation coming from Afghanistan consists of Afghan nationals, DG ISPR

ISLAMABAD (Tahir Khalil) DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that it is the responsibility of the Taliban regime to stop terrorism from the Afghan soil under the patronage of India. 80% of the suicide bombers are Afghans. Afghan citizens are present in every formation coming from Afghanistan to Pakistan. If the Afghan Taliban regime does not implement the commitments made under the Doha Agreement, then Pakistan has the full right to defend itself. While giving an exclusive interview to Arab News, DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that Pakistan’s only concrete demand from the Afghan Taliban regime is to stop terrorism from within Pakistan from Afghan soil. On the situation in Balochistan, DG ISPR said that terrorists do not have public support, they are trying to impose their ideology at the point of a gun. Terrorism is being sponsored by India and social media is being run from outside. State policy is very clear that there will be no dialogue with terrorists.
