LAHORE (Asif Mehmood Butt) Pakistan Civil Services Academy (CSA) 9-member delegation of Pakistan has completed a 6-day study visit to China, which was honored as the first official foreign study visit under the Common Training Program (CTP) in the history of the academy. Important milestones were visits to government institutions, universities and industrial centers in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The delegation visited Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou from September 13 to 18 and held meetings and study visits with senior Chinese government officials, universities, research institutes, industrial organizations and urban development centers. The delegation was led by Director Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) Faisal Zahoor. The delegation included officers under training from Pakistan Administrative Service and Foreign Service of Pakistan Talha Haseeb, Muhammad Shafaye, Aleem Malik, Afsah Khalid, Rabia Aman, Afrah Tehlil, Momina Azhar and Aliza. In Beijing, the delegation visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China where they met with Counselor Chen Wei, Deputy Division Director Yao Yue and Desk Officer Li Jialin. The delegation also attended a seminar with the “Research Center on Building a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity” at the China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU). In the seminar, the issues of Pakistan-China relations, governance, youth interaction and utilization of institutional experiences were discussed.
