New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra was injured during a promotional shoot, throwing his participation in next month’s T20 series against India in doubt.

New Zealand Cricket has confirmed Rachin Ravindra’s injury.

According to the details released in this regard, Rachan Ravindra injured his right shoulder while taking a diving catch during a promotional shoot in Auckland.

No major injuries have been confirmed initially.

New Zealand’s performance manager, Mike Sandel, said: “We are sorry for Rachael, there were safety measures in place for the shooting.”

He said that he will continue to review his procedures related to such events in the future.

It should be noted that New Zealand will host 5 T20 matches against India from October 22.
