Noted Bollywood actor Salman Khan has defended co-star Katrina Kaif without naming her and criticized those who are making inappropriate comments on social media over the actress’ weight gain after becoming a mother.

Katrina Kaif recently attended an event hosted by Mukesh and Nita Ambani along with her husband Vicky Kaushal, where their pictures and videos went viral on social media.

During the event, Katrina was also the center of attention due to her style and dress, however, after the pictures came out, some social media users made inappropriate comments criticizing her weight and appearance.

Salman Khan also came to the defense of Katrina Kaif, in the recent episode of his reality show ‘Bigg Boss 20′, the actor took a dig at those who mocked celebrities’ bodies, clothes and personal affairs on social media.

Salman Khan says that some people criticize celebrities’ personal life, appearance and other matters to earn income from social media.

The actor has said that making money by disparaging someone is actually a reflection of the training and thinking of such people, celebrities also face criticism on personal matters like body structure, weight, appearance, family, professional failures and motherhood.

Salman Khan said that gaining weight after becoming a mother is a natural process and the actress will get fit again when she returns to films.

Salman Khan questioned that people who are dissatisfied with their appearance, how can they think it is right to criticize the weight and appearance of others.

He said that at this time Katrina Kaif should be allowed to spend time with her family.

Salman Khan also mentioned the social media trolling on him during the conversation and said that as I get older, I also face criticism.

The actor has quipped that I am 60 years old, so I can’t always look like the hero of ‘Maine Pyaar Kya’.
