In occupied East Jerusalem, 570 Israeli settlers, including Prime Minister Netanyahu, entered the courtyard of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed Talmudic religious rituals under the protection of the Israeli army.

According to the Arab media, the Palestinian Governorate of Al-Quds has said that the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, several ministers and hundreds of Israelis also entered the Baraq Wall compound under the strict security of the army.

Hamas strongly condemned Netanyahu’s visit to the tunnels and excavation sites under the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Barak Wall, calling it an open attack on the identity and status of the holy site.

In its response, Hamas has said that Al-Aqsa Mosque will remain a mosque in its entirety, including its courtyards, prayer rooms, walls and doors, and that efforts to change it will not succeed.

According to Arab media, this incident happened a day before the start of the Jewish religious festival of Yom Kippur, which will start tonight and continue until Monday night.
