A video of welding in the presence of children in the nursery of the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) Hospital in Karachi has surfaced.

In the video, newborns can be seen lying on a bed in the nursery during the welding.

Sources said there were 80 to 120 babies in the nursery, most of whom were on oxygen.

Repair work has been carried out to create an emergency exit in the nursery of the emergency department.

Despite multiple contacts from Geo News, the hospital administration did not respond.
