Firing on Levies officials in Malakand, two officials were injured, the video of the incident went viral on social media.

In the video, a person can be seen firing at levies personnel, the shooter is said to be a guard of PTI MPA Shakeel Khan.

According to the sources, after taking strict notice of the firing incident at the highest level, legal proceedings including arrests have been started by registering an FIR against Shakeel Khan and others.

Sources say that strict action is being taken against those responsible under zero tolerance.

Deputy Kushman and ADC Malakand were contacted to take a stand on this situation, but could not get a response.

On the other hand, Provincial Minister Shakeel Khan has said in a letter to the Deputy Commissioner and other senior officials that unknown persons in a car opened fire on my car while going home in Batkhela.

Shakeel Khan says that my guards fired at the tires of the car of unknown persons, meanwhile my driver drove the car to a safe place.

Shakeel Khan’s position is that unknown people wanted to kidnap and kill us.
