Sharjah (Sabat Arif) Logistics Corridor launched in Sharjah in May 2026 recorded significant business activity in the first 3 months. Goods worth about 1.7 billion dirhams were transported through the corridor established with the cooperation of Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority and Oman Customs. During this period, more than 34 thousand trucks were transported and more than 32 thousand customs declarations were completed. A 66.26 percent increase in the value of goods was recorded compared to the same period last year. The corridor connects various ports and logistics centers in Sharjah with Oman’s Sohar, Duqm and Salalah ports through the Khatma Malaha and Al Madam border crossings. According to the authorities, the aim of this system is to reduce the delivery time of goods, simplify customs procedures and further improve trade links between the UAE and Oman.
