RIYADH (Shahid Naeem) Nine people, including seven members of the same family, were killed as a result of a terrible collision between two vehicles on the Al-Aqeer-Al-Ayoun road in Al-Ahsa Governorate of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. According to local sources, parents, three sons and two daughters of a family in the first vehicle lost their lives in the accident, while two youths in the second vehicle also died. According to the Eastern Province Traffic Department, the relevant teams reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported. Initially, the cause of the accident is said to be a sudden turn of the vehicle, while the necessary legal proceedings related to the accident are being completed. Special assistance teams of Civil Defense and Saudi Red Crescent took action to evacuate the people trapped in the two severely damaged vehicles.
