The accused who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the case of double murder was acquitted.

Justice Amjad Rafiq of Lahore High Court heard the appeal of accused Ali Raza.

The Supreme Court acquitted the accused giving benefit of doubt. A case was registered against the accused by Gujranula police station in 2022.

Appellant’s counsel submitted that the trial court had sentenced the accused to life imprisonment in 2025, accused of murdering 2 civilians.
