The Lahore High Court reserved its decision on the petition against the detention of Aleema Khan and her driver.

Justice Abhar Gul heard the petition of Aleema Khan’s son Shah Riz, on this occasion he asked the petitioner’s lawyer that he approached the relevant authority.

To this the petitioner’s counsel replied that our case is different from other cases.

The lawyer told the court that the district intelligence committee meeting was held on the same date and the detention notification was issued on the same day.

Justice Abahar Gul Khan said that the court will look into it, while reserving the decision regarding the admissibility of the application.

On the other hand, the trial of the case filed against Aleema Khan on November 26 protest in the Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court has been completed, the court reserved the verdict after the final arguments.

The verdict in the case filed against Aleema Khan on November 26 protest will be pronounced on Friday.

Aleema Khan’s lawyer did not appear in court to give final arguments.

Aleema Khan’s lawyer filed a plea seeking exemption from her appearance, which was accepted by the court today.
