ISLAMABAD (Rana Ghulam Qadir) The Federal Government has appointed Chairman Nepra Appellate Tribunal Zafarullah Khan Khakwani as the Chairperson of the Federal Appellate Tribunal for Benami Transactions (Prohibition), Islamabad. According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice on 18 September 2026, the appointment was made under Section 30(5) of the Benami Transactions (Prohibition) Act, 2017. Yes, the appointment of Zafarullah Khan Khakwani will be on contract basis for 3 years.
