On the other hand, the US admitted that 18 soldiers were killed and 417 were injured in the war with Iran.

According to the Inspector General of the US Department of Defense, these deaths occurred in the first 4 months of the war, during which 18 US warplanes, helicopters and 30 drones were destroyed in Iranian attacks.

According to the report, between February 28 and June 30, 2026, 11 American soldiers died in combat operations while 7 soldiers died in non-combat incidents.
