The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baqaei, said that the contact with the American side in New York was made through the Qatari mediator.

While talking to the media, he has said that Iran conveyed its position and conditions to the US, the Iranian conditions include the end of war on all fronts and the cessation of American operations.

Ismail Baqaei says that includes the naval blockade, the end of the economic war and the restoration of Iranian assets.

He has said that the Iranian delegation walked out of the UN meeting during President Trump’s speech, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi held bilateral meetings with several countries, and did not request special security measures for the Iranian delegation from the US.

Earlier, Iranian media claimed that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met Trump’s special envoy Vitkov in New York.

On the other hand, the American official had claimed that Abbas Araqchi had also met Jared Kushner.
