ISLAMABAD (Report: Hanif Khalid) Finance Act 2026-27: Proposal to provide information of bank transactions above one crore rupees to central data hub, cross-matching of bank account data with tax information through algorithm, mismatch will be processed by National Faceless Center. According to details, under the Finance Act 2026-27, banks and Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs) will have to electronically upload financial transaction information to a central data hub of account holders whose deposits or withdrawals exceed Rs 1 crore in any or all bank accounts during the reporting period.
