Lieutenant General Retired Noman Mahmood was appointed as the first Secretary General under the Makkah Defense Agreement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the Secretary General will lead the General Secretariat of the alliance to be established in Riyadh.
It should be remembered that Turkish Foreign Minister Haqan Fidan confirmed last month that the Secretary General of the Makkah Defense Agreement between Turkey, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will be from Pakistan.
