The British Air Force has begun secretly using satellite jammers, which jam ground-based satellites, to thwart enemy espionage efforts.

According to British media, the Royal Air Force has installed advanced electronic warfare systems so that aggressor states cannot spy on the British Army.

The devices have been operational for a year and were installed covertly.

It is claimed that these devices destroy the visibility of other satellites and also interfere with their data transmission.

It is not clear whether the UK acquired this technology from any country or developed it itself.

According to the report, the system is being operated by a special unit of the Air Force that secures space infrastructure.
