Islamabad (Asim Javed) The Islamabad High Court has accepted the appeals of various TV channels against Pemra, declaring the decision to fine the TV channels for the alleged violation in Faizabad dharna coverage, the court has issued an order to send the matter to Pemra for a decision. Yesterday, Justice Inam Amin Minhas issued a 15-page written decision on the appeals filed by various TV channels including Jio. The court remanded the matter of PEMRA’s action against the channels to PEMRA and directed that all the concerned channels be heard again and after giving them full right to be heard, the decision should be taken according to law.
