The Lahore High Court rejected the request to immediately suspend the detention notification of Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi.

The court issued notices to the parties on the occasion of hearing on the petitions against the detention of Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi and sought their response.

Justice Abhar Gul Khan heard the petitions, Mudassar Umar Advocate and Barrister Taimur appeared on behalf of Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi.

Advocate Farrukh Lodhi appeared on behalf of the Punjab government.

It should be remembered that on September 21, PTI founder sisters Noreen Niazi and Uzma Khan were detained from Lahore, both of them have been detained for 30 days.
