The German Foreign Office says that Germany appreciates Pakistan’s mediating role in regional disputes.

In a statement on social media, the German Foreign Office has said that Pakistan’s role in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab is commendable.

On the other hand, the German and Pakistani foreign ministers met on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.

In this regard, the German Foreign Office says that in the meeting of the German Foreign Minister with Ishaq Dar, peace reconciliation between Ukraine and Russia was also discussed.

Germany and Pakistan have agreed to resume peace talks in Ukraine.
