Mushtaq Khan, a well-known actor of Bollywood film industry, passed away at the age of 56. He was known for his memorable supporting roles in films like Welcome, Ghadar: Ek Prem Katha, Ghadar 2 and Istari 2.

Mushtaq Khan, who was battling lung cancer, was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital in a critical condition, where he was kept in the ICU, and passed away on Thursday evening.

He started his screen career in 1980 with the film ‘Why Albert Pinto gets angry’. In a career spanning more than three decades, she appeared in many popular Hindi films including Welcome, Aashiqui, Mejh Se Shaadi Karo Gi and Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke.

Mushtaq Khan worked in both Hindi films and television and was known for his versatile acting in supporting roles.
