The National Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has busted a group that was selling sensitive data of bureaucrats and top officials abroad.

Additional Director NCCIA informed the Senate Standing Committee on IT and Telecom that the gang caught from Rawalpindi was selling data of top officials abroad for money.

The committee directed the PTA to create an app for messages between government officials, the committee also drew the attention of the chairman PTA to the live broadcast of inappropriate content on a social media platform and recommended tightening of internet for children below 16 years of age.

Chairman PTA said that he has met the Minister of State Talal Chaudhry regarding the use of social media by children, some countries have banned the use of social media by children under the age of 16.
