Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited different areas of Islamabad where he reviewed the overall situation of the city, urban facilities, cleanliness and beauty arrangements.

The Home Minister inspected schools, hotels, other public places and issued necessary instructions to the concerned authorities.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi ordered an immediate end to all encroachments in Islamabad. He said that any kind of encroachment will not be tolerated in the city. All encroachments should be removed immediately without discrimination.

The Interior Minister directed to start the project of beautification of all the roads of Islamabad immediately. He said that special attention should be given to the beauty of roads, green belts, empty spaces.

Mohsin Naqvi also gave orders for large-scale plantation in vacant places. He said that the greenhouse of the city should be improved. Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan, it should look like a capital city in every way.

He also said that the cleanliness, beauty and civic amenities of the city should be worthy of its glory. Special attention should be given to the beautification of the city.

The Interior Minister said that practical measures should be accelerated to further improve the civic facilities.

During the visit to different areas, Chief Commissioner Islamabad and related officers were also accompanied by the Federal Interior Minister.
