American analyst Tucker Carlson has claimed that the war against Iran was not aimed at the Iranian nuclear program, but rather that Israel wanted a war to achieve its regional goals.

In an interview, he has said that Israel wanted to weaken Iran, reduce the power of the Gulf countries and remove American military bases from the Middle East.

Carlson has claimed that a few days before the start of the war, he had discussed the issue with US President Donald Trump, but Trump’s response surprised him.

According to Carlson, Trump said that everyone has to die eventually, so it doesn’t matter.

He termed this thinking as pessimism and futility.

The White House has not directly commented on Tucker Carlson’s specific claim, but did share President Trump’s social media post, in which Trump criticized various positions on Iran’s nuclear weapons, including Carlson.
