Unlike breakfast and lunch in general, people eat dinner based on their convenience, working hours or arriving home late.

According to an international media report, modern research conducted by Indian doctors has shown that the time of eating has a profound effect on the health of the heart and arteries.

Dr. Gira cites a large clinical study of more than 100,000 adults over 7 years, which found that late eaters were significantly more likely to have heart disease, stroke and blocked arteries.

According to experts, the human body operates on a natural 24-hour system or body clock (circadian rhythm), which controls blood pressure, hormones and metabolism, and eating late at night affects this system, causing insulin resistance and blood sugar levels to deteriorate.

Research has shown that people who eat dinner before 8 pm have a higher risk of coronary artery disease than those who eat after 9 pm.

The doctor clarified that eating after 9 pm does not directly cause disease, but it is linked to bad habits like unbalanced lifestyle and sleeping late, which are major causes of heart diseases indirectly.
