Islamabad (Tanveer Hashmi) Federal Board of Revenue has established a National Faceless Center (NFC) in Islamabad, this decision was taken in the board in council meeting. According to sources, the National Faceless Center is a major initiative that will change the way tax audits and assessments are conducted in Pakistan. Until now, if a taxpayer’s return was selected for audit, he had to deal with a specific officer in a specific office, often in person, in the new system.
