US President Donald Trump rejected Iran’s seven-day ceasefire proposal.

According to the Wall Street Journal, President Trump told his advisers that the bombing of Iran could resume after the midterms in November.

Earlier, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi had offered a ceasefire.

Abbas Araqchi said that Tehran has given the US a seven-day plan for ending the war, opening the Strait of Hormuz and comprehensive negotiations on the nuclear program.

According to the American newspaper New York Times, while talking to journalists, Abbas Araqchi said that the proposals are similar to the MoU signed by the United States and Iran.

The Iranian Foreign Minister said that Iran is ready to immediately implement the proposals if America is willing.
