Islamabad (Tanveer Hashmi) Pakistan Sugar Mills Association says that there is 12.5 million tons of sugar surplus in the country, 10 million tons of sugar should be exported immediately, it is time to deregulate the sugar sector completely, at the end of the crushing season 2025-26, excess sugar was produced which should be exported immediately. It has submitted to the government that the coming crushing season is about to start and any delay in it will destroy the industry and the farmers.
