The spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Baqaei, has said that no sovereign and responsible country should succumb to American pressure or threats.

In a statement, Ismail Baqaei warned that any country’s military presence or participation in military operations in the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz will have serious consequences.

The spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that Iran attaches great importance to its friendly relations with the Republic of Korea.

He has also said that no country should be involved in aggressive actions and heinous crimes against the Iranian people.

On the other hand, Ismail Baqaei said in the press briefing that it is not a war but an open aggression, European countries are adopting an irrational attitude, they are asking for a UN resolution against Iran, if the International Atomic Energy Agency approves a resolution against Iran, Tehran will also take countermeasures.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Baqaei shared a picture of the animated series The Simpsons and mocked America.

In a statement on social media website X, he said that the US is disrupting commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and trying to blame it on Iran.

Ismail Baqaei said in his post that the Strait of Hormuz was completely open before the US-Israeli attack on February 28.

He accused Washington of imposing an illegal and brutal war on the region, saying that the US war has affected the commercial shipping system and is driving up energy prices.
