
A 20-member special committee was formed for reforms in Pims Hospital.
According to sources, the committee includes eminent health experts from the public and private sector.
Sources have said that the special committee will review the administrative affairs of Pims Hospital and make recommendations regarding the running of the affairs of the hospital.
The committee will present its report to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in the light of which the Prime Minister will take a final decision regarding Pims Hospital.
Sources say that it has also been decided to form a Board of Governors to run the affairs of Pims Hospital, which will include people from different walks of life.
It should be noted that 14 newborns died tragically in the fire incident at Pims Hospital.
After the tragedy, 8 officers, including the executive director, have been suspended, while action under the criminal law has also been initiated against the suspended officers.
