The US Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 25 basis points.

Interest rates in the US were raised to 4% from 3.75%, the first rate hike in the US since July 2023.

US President Trump has said that the interest rate in the US should be one percent or less.

He further said that the interest rate in America should be reduced and should be reduced immediately.
